The navigator program aims to improve Hispanic and Latino individuals’ access to the tools they need to take control of their sexual health, regardless of immigration and insurance status. This project investigates efficient ways to link Hispanic and Latino individuals to services that are culturally competent and free or low-cost.
Yes! As part of StopHIVATL and Fulton County Board of Health’s mission to connect Hispanic and Latino folks in the metro Atlanta area with the health resources they need, your participation in this research study and the services provided by the navigator are completely free of cost.
Think of the navigator as a liaison between you, the services you need, and your best life. The navigator is a bilingual, trained community member who will connect Spanish-speaking Latino individuals with access to low-cost or free clinics and services—regardless of insurance and immigration status. The advisor guides community members to culturally concordant and affordable sexual health services.
Your privacy is of utmost importance. Our navigator connects you to the services and resources you request without judgment or shame. Anything discussed with the navigator will remain confidential.
